Vegetable Supply Chain

Odisha has one of the highest per capita consumption of vegetables. The state produces a lot of vegetables and also imports from neighboring states.

Odisha imports a significant quantity of vegetables like tomato, cabbage, cauliflower, beans, capsicum from neighboring states such as Karnataka, Jharkhand etc. The current trade happens on open trucks which are subject to lot of logistics & handling wastage & losses. We plan to significantly improve the logistics using large reefer trucks and handling equipment.

In addition, our field team will engage with farmers and collect data on vegetable cultivation. Data team will use proven AI/ML models to forecast vegetable arrivals and prices. With this, we will engage in vegetable trading with superior pricing, longer term contracts, combined with aggregated & optimized supply chain efficiencies.

Thus, we will participate and add value in the vegetable supply chain with better technology for logistics and market systems.

Trading

We engage in sourcing of vegetables from states like Jharkhand and Karnataka and sales to dispersed vegetable selling agents around Brahmapur and Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
